Last 6th july, I arrived from Argentina to Liverpool…only to see Haydockracecourse gig…and was suspended because the rain…but fortunately meet Thommo, Crhissy and Woody at Liverpool rail station!
Madness it’s with me all my entire life. Thanks for all.
I still remember your old site. Welcome back. Can’t wait for 29th October. ‘Death of a rude boy’ is fantastic. But please try and bring back the good old CD Single. Compressed MP3’s are nothing in comparison. Love the dubby Weatherall mix too. I only found out by accident about that mix after getting the free download. A little more publicity wouldn’t go amiss! Hope that the new album will be almost as good as your best album to date, the deluxe edition of TLONF. Hope you can keep this slightly faster release action going. Ten albums in 33 years isn’t too great. Especially after having the first six in 7 years lol. See you in December and please mix that set list up. Next year i think you should do a ‘One step beyond’ tour playing the whole album in order followed by all the b sides. And release that bloody Singles box set 2 promised for the 25 anniversary (2004)!
Last week, while I was cooking, listening to my old Madness favorites, I felt this sudden urge to dance like you (you know, jumping on one foot, moving elegantly backwards). I lamentably crashed down on my back, crushed the spaghettis, the cat, and took a shampoo with mayonnaise.
You should not attempt certain things past a certain age.
But I am not desperate. I will wait for your next album and try again, this time with one cane or two.
Still trying to figure out how you do that: aging with fun and graceā¦

Life of a rude housewife
Dear Chas,
